Samuel Richardson had got the idea of epistolary form of writing and hence his "Pamela: A Virtue Rewarded" was written and the letter form of literary writing was developed. Years later, the epistolary form got favour in the pen of Simran Munot in her writing, "Cordially Yours: Where letters tell a tale". The candid form in which the author pours out her heart and writes the book gives it a personal touch and brings the readers close to the book as soon as they begin reading it.
The title for once, may mislead the readers but it makes absolute sense by the time they finish the book and feel a stronger connect not just with the author but also themselves as they are able to identify themselves with the situations presented by the author at some point of time or the other. The message conveyed by the author is about having a connect with self. Such kinds of books are not written very often which makes the book a recommended read for all who want to see how beautifully the author has addressed herself without any intention of her letters being read by anyone else.
