Book Review: The Bedside Book of Life

Francis Bacon once said, "Some books should be tasted, some devoured, but only a few should be chewed and digested thoroughly." Jal Patel's book, "The Bedside Book of Life: Secrets to finding your missing pieces and living to the fullest" is just an accurate example if Bacon would have given.

“The Bedside Book” is not just about the learning of the author but all those who are going through the phase of struggle and striving for better. This makes the book a source of motivation and guide to everyone. He begins with an introduction which is on a very personal note and the readers can understand the philosophy of Patel, not to squander life.

The 3 parts of the book divided into 51 short chapters attempt to provide answers to the questions of every possible reader. “The Bedside Book” is not something the readers can just read and forget. As the title suggests, its about keeping the book at bedside and returning back to reading it back and forth. Reading the book again and again will leave a stronger and lasting impression on the readers and would also have a positive impact on their lives.
