A few authors have performed the feat where they mix up different styles and themes and explore them together at one platform. “Jean Angel: The Child Of The Prophecy” by Atul Ajun Mohite is one example in this regard. The book has the touch of fairytale aspects and at the same time talks about the consequences of actions in a person’s life which meets the standards of realistic content.
The idea of prophecy for a moment reminds the readers of Sophocles’ “Oedipus Rex” and because of the presence of the King and his bearing the consequences of his actions, to some extent “Jean Angel” does make the reader recall “Oedipius Rex”. The title is absolutely relevant as it centres around the life of Jean and all the events of his life.
This story can be read by all kinds of readers as it deals with the elements of fiction, real life, fantasy, morality and perfectly developed and well built characters.
