Movie Review: Sanju

The movie is a biopic yet, it teaches a lot of things; could be called a set of dos and don'ts which we should keep in mind while making choices in our lives. First and foremost is choosing our company wisely. Company matters because company affects. Second thing is for both parents and children, to stay close to family and the fragility of human relations (can be broken in a second). Third, have no fear, stand up for yourself, if need be, take a bullet and die a hero's death (hero of real life). Fourth, ignorance can be very fatal. The movie contains an appropriate example. Fifth, the effects of someone's death can be devastating. So all members of the family should stick together like pillars having each other's back.
Other issues from an observer's perspective I found are the fact that this could be the story of any star kid. Parental legacy can be a burden for the young blooming child. People in power need to take extra care of their children because they will always remain in the limelight. Also, there are definite cautionary parenting tips clearly given.
Dutt seemed to be a kid until his father did not actually become his friend. Death of the mother and support of the father made him grow as a person, the character growth is clearly visible as the movie progresses. The brilliant acting of the actors added to the marvels of the flick. And ofcourse, how important writers are, everyone must know by now.
Last but not the least, anyone's life can teach but the question is, from whose life are we willing to learn?

Serious issue here

Being a woman, and certainly not against the women folk, yet critiquing a person of my own race.
Everywhere there are chants of the youth being the future of the country, not just ours but any. But how can the youth be banked upon when there is no certainty about what there childhood has been like?
I saw a young woman, must be in her early prime, early in the morning, perfectly following the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”
But what about the common knowledge that lack of cleanliness is also bound to take you to the doctor?
Enjoyed her apple to the full and when nothing remained in it, dropped it midway. Simply!
I certainly felt angered. But further introspection made me question what she learnt in childhood? I realized, she isn't the one to be blamed, the upbringing is, which she got.
Before going Gaga over the youth and it's power, it's necessary to ensure the same youth gets the ideal upbringing for a future perfect youth.

Selfie: making lives better?

Human beings have always yearned for appreciation and admiration. For this purpose, since time immemorial, women continue to groom themselves to have that attention as it is stereotyped but men may not accept, but they wouldn't disagree if complimented. Nowadays men have also started paying attention to their physical looks. If not men's beauty saloons, grooming saloons are definitely in the picture.

As trends have changed, so has technology which led to the birth of cellphones and from cellphones to smartphones. Smartphones brought social media into people's pockets which brought with it the concept of taking pictures and selfies. These selfies transformed the people's worlds because they didn't need or have to wait for anyone to take their picture. They did it on their own whenever and wherever they wanted.

As the quote goes, "excess of everything is not good", this is applicable here. These maybe called the demerits of "selfie system" but I would rather call it "the aftereffects". Selfies have attacked people on the mental level in various ways. In the garb of the "coolness quotient" people end up doing stupidities jeopardising their very existence. In the wake of this, many even lost their lives, as per recent regular news updates. Somewhere this selfie obsession is killing their sensibilities and cognitive abilities. No thinking, no wondering, only clicking seems the fundamental operating in these times. That in itself is a major reason of the increase in the number of deaths.
People take selfies and show how much they love themselves. Love for self isn't wrong. But if that love becomes an obsession, it's fatal. I see people zooming in their own pictures to see how perfect they look (we all know how many editors are available). This obsession leads to jealousy, hatred (towards others or own imperfections) which is not good for any human especially teenagers.
Ultimately, the more important aspects in life loose attention. The obsession of selfie perfection has become a serious problem now. If something is not done, more people would be killed in the younger years than ever before.

Experience at the bookfair

Owing to my love for books, I planned to visit the annual world book fair. In this tech savvy and e-form driven world, there's not much that the hardbound form of books could offer. Yet to my surprise, the number of people that turned up for this event was much more than expected.

I held the opinion that people are not much interested in reading and imagining (rather using brain) because due to the technological developments, everything is in their phones (concluded on the basis of travel observations). I was rather delighted to see many people turned up with their kids. But couldn't see through the fact that for them this was just a picnic. Who in the world gets their infants from the cradle to the bookworld?
It more seems like people just can't go to places where it does seem sensible to go.

Initiating kids to the bookworld is no wrong, but what about the fact of teaching them the basic etiquettes and values of not howling around like madmen? I was less able to roam about perusing my passion, more trying to save the kids from getting hit on their run accidentally by me or the stuff I had.

So, I still love books, but I think I'll have to find other ways to reach them now on.

New ideas

so what is with the rat race of running and running around just to keep yourself so busy and occupied when you have no time for you? To a person like me, who observes this all silently has the ideas of thinking where we are headed to. we all run throughout the week and in the weekend do the extra works that cannot be done in the weekdays, but the question is, where is the time for you yourself? in the week? It can't be. In the weekend? It doesn't seem to be so. Some people keep on delaying their desired works on tomorrow. But eventually this tomorrow causes a year to pass and so on time passes and our lives run at rocket speeds. With my ideas I can say that no one gets time for anything, you have to snatch those moments away from time for you, your family, friends and your loved ones. If you can do it, it would be a better experience. Of course, its tough to snatch that little time too, But some planning and little adjustments can do wonders
